Artist's Comments

I've been busy working on my projects, not able to participate on deviant art much.
Just felt like submitting something to show you what I'm doing and where I'm spending most of my time.
Hope all is well with you and I'll be back in a week or two to get back into exploring and commenting.

So cool.
The way you see the girl like getting longer and longer away from you.
So cool.

I like it a lot. I did a similar thing when i went to new york, it was called 112th st to 56th street, i'll post it one day.
My point is, it's interesting comparing the relative brightness of colours in the London tube to the dark and dinginess of NY.
(I also did a sound recording of the journey. You can hear the driver calling out the stations but he doesn't help much and the accelerating and decelrating of the car.)
Anyway, I reckon the series would make a pretty cool composition all together.
Should get a tokyo, paris series etc..

This reminds me of an amp video. Amp is a show on MTV that shows only electronic music videos. I like it!

Great collage, the movement involved in all of the shots is very well done, and is really cool.

Great series with common features throughout. The red elements in each of these are a great highlight to the journey.

oh i saw this as i was logging in..it caught my eye.
COLORS galore! :) (Smile)
i've been staring at this for like 10 minutes i think
very good sequence and all the movement keeps me interested
everything looks amazingly clean

well, i'll come out of hiding for this ;) (Wink) - it's completely unlike any of your photography that i've seen before, but still has that distinctive wanderer touch. captures the underground nicely i think - the constant movement of machinery and people. people glipsed, but not seen properly. specially like nos 3 and 5. i like the underground when its as it is in 5. completely empty :) (Smile) . good stuff. (though aren't you in oxford?).
i like jahmilliah's idea of doing a similar thing for different underground systems... i'll remember that next time i go somewhere interesting..

This is very nice. I was in London in November last year and this brings back a flood of memories. We spent a lot of time in the Tube so I can really relate to this collage.
"Mind the Gap" ;) (Wink)
